The Upper Grand District School Board is spreading the word about hands on learning through TV advertising.
The Specialist High Skills Major Program is an educational curriculum aimed at students who benefit from a much more hands on learning experience.
The curriculum is tailored to students in their 11th and 12th year, and offers a vast array of courses to choose from, including: Agriculture, Business, Construction, The Environment, Manufacturing, Transportation as well as Hospitality & Tourism.
The Specialist High Skills Major Program invites students to engage themselves in a learning style unlike other theoretical classes. Students get the opportunity to experience a real occupation with an exciting co-up placement within the industry. These co-up placements allow students to get a sense of the real world, and can help them to make a more educated decision on the profession or career path they will embark on after high school.
You will be able to see the Upper Grand District School Boards advertisement on CTV Kitchener and perhaps on other TV networks as well.
Creative Bube Tube, a full service Television Advertising and Commercial Production Company, was ecstatic to have worked with The Upper Grand District School Board. Creative Bube Tube created their promotional videos, as well help promote their TV advertising campaign that will start in May.
